ESD Global Camp

is unique week-long intensive program for Self-Defense Instructors, both aspiring and experienced, who want to develop their skills to deliver Empowerment Self-Defense (ESD) training in their communities. 

We offer two tracks

Level 1 Bootcamp,

for instructors new to teaching Empowerment Self-Defense;

and Level 2 Deepening Your ESD Teaching Skills,

for experienced Self-Defense Instructors to gain more depth in their knowledge and explore teaching diverse and inclusive populations. 

After camp

participants will continue to develop their skills through online seminars, one to one mentoring, and by teaching ESD in their community. Help build the ESD Global movement to make high quality Empowerment Self-Defense training accessible to everyone worldwide to prevent, interrupt, respond to and heal from violence.

The full cost of the program is $2500 per participant. We are committed to making sure that cost is not a barrier to participation. 

The goal of ESD Global is to support universal access to Empowerment Self Defense training. One way that we do this is by training motivated women who want to teach ESD who have not been able to access training for many different reasons. Please let us know if you need funding to cover the program cost, travel, lost time at work or additional childcare.
